🛠️ How Dynamic CallerID Works

If enabled, your outgoing number can update automatically based on how or where you're calling—ideal for local presence or department-specific calls.

❗ Important: This feature only changes the phone number, not the Caller ID Name (CNAM), which is controlled by the recipient’s phone carrier.

Use Feature Codes to Select Your Outgoing Number

In the sections below, you'll learn how to apply a feature code when dialing from the Dial Pad or the Search Bar. These codes allow you to control which outbound number is displayed based on your admin’s configured rules.

Using the Dial Pad


Open the Dial Pad.

  1. Dial the Feature Code (provided by the system admin).
  2. Enter the Phone Number you want to call.
  3. Press the Call Button.

Example: *123 555 555 1234

Using the Search Bar


Navigate to the Search Bar.

  1. Dial the Feature Code (provided by the system admin).
  2. Enter the Phone Number you want to call.
  3. Press the Call Button.

Example: *123 555 555 1234
