Use an AI agent with VirtualPBX

An AI agent for a VirtualPBX account loads one skill. Support work uses https://docs.virtualpbx.com/skills/virtualpbx/SKILL.md. API work uses https://docs.virtualpbx.com/skills/virtualpbx-developer/SKILL.md. Each file is the procedure for that customer. This guide tells a person which file to give the agent. A support agent fetches one task guide and coaches the person through Dash, the billing portal, or VirtualText. A developer agent follows the Dash API guides instead of those screens.

Give the skill to an agent

Support customers, who use the phones, texting, and billing, paste this file:

https://docs.virtualpbx.com/skills/virtualpbx/SKILL.md

Developers, who call the Dash API, paste this file:

https://docs.virtualpbx.com/skills/virtualpbx-developer/SKILL.md

Hosts that read the Agent Skills layout, including Claude, Codex, and Cursor, can load the virtualpbx folder or the virtualpbx-developer folder. Each folder contains SKILL.md and references/tasks.md.

What the agent does next

The skill is the procedure. The agent matches the request to one row in that skill’s task index, fetches that guide, and follows it. A support agent coaches the person through Dash, the billing portal, or VirtualText. A developer agent follows the API guide.

Before a cancellation, a port, a payment or address change, an ownership or primary-contact change, SMS registration, or a device return, the support agent states the consequence and waits for an explicit yes.

The same guides are listed in llms.txt.
